Mahindra Veero CNG launched in India at Rs 8.99 lakh; Know price, specifications and mileage here

Mahindra has now launched its light commercial vehicle, the Viro CNG, in the market. Its starting price has also been revealed. It will be priced at Rs 8.99 lakh in India.

Auto News: Mahindra has now launched its Light Commercial Vehicle - Vireo CNG with a starting price of Rs 8.99 lakh, ex-showroom. Mahindra Vireo builds on the company's commitment to providing a sustainable and clean mobility experience. Mahindra Vireo CNG LCV was showcased in September 2024 and has been launched today.

Mahindra Veero CNG: Engine
The Mahindra Viro CNG is available in two trims in India, the base variant being the Mahindra Viro 1.4 XXL SD V2 CNG and the Mahindra Viro 1.4 XXD SD V4 CNG. The turbo-CNG produces a peak power and torque output of 89.84 hp and 210 Nm respectively.

Mahindra Veero CNG: Mileage

Mahindra Viro CNG gives a mileage of 19.2 km/kg. Apart from the CNG tank, it also has a 4.5 liter petrol tank. The 150 liter CNG tank gives a range of 480 km and with the petrol tank, the Viro is capable of giving a mileage of more than 500 km.

Mahindra Veero CNG: Payload Capacity

Mahindra Viro CNG is said to be suitable for any type of cargo. The cargo capacity of Viro is 1.4 tonnes and the cargo length is 3,035 mm.

Mahindra Veero CNG: Safety and other features

Mahindra has also ensured the best safety features in the Vireo CNG. The Vireo CNG has AIS096 crash test safety certification along with driver-side airbag, high-strength steel construction, false start avoidance system and many more features.

Mahindra claims a great driving experience with air conditioner, reclining driver seat, first-in-segment TFT cluster, engine start-stop, power mode and driver fuel coaching system.

Mahindra Veero CNG: Price and Rivals

The Mahindra Viro comes in two trims - 1.4 XXL SD V2 CNG and 1.4 XXL SD V4 (A) CNG, priced at ₹ 8.99 lakh and ₹ 9.39 lakh respectively. The Mahindra Viro CNG will compete with the Maruti Suzuki Super Carry and Ashok Leyland Dost CNG.
