New Delhi: For aficionados of high-performance sports motorcycles, Kawasaki, with its iconic Ninja series, holds a special place. Renowned for its prowess on the road, the Kawasaki Ninja continues to capture the hearts of motorcycle enthusiasts. While the brand initially made its mark with premium offerings, it has since diversified its portfolio to include more affordable models. Anticipating the new year, Kawasaki is set to elevate the adrenaline rush with the launch of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R in the UK on January 1st.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R: Engine

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R boasts an upgraded 636cc inline four-cylinder engine, an enhancement of 37cc from its standard model. This powerhouse is capable of delivering a maximum power of 129hp and a peak torque of 69Nm. What sets the ZX-6R apart is its remarkable acceleration, reaching from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in a mere 3.2 seconds. With a top speed of 257Km/h, the ZX-6R promises an exhilarating riding experience for motorcycle enthusiasts.

Styled with inspiration from the Kawasaki Ninja racing team, the new ZX-6R showcases vibrant colors and graphics. Retaining the aesthetic appeal of its predecessor, it features a muscular fuel tank, dual pod LED headlights, clip-on handlebars, full-fairing with flush-fitted indicators, an upright windscreen, rider-only seat, 17-inch lightweight alloy wheels, and sleek LED taillamps. The inclusion of Bluetooth connectivity supporting a touchscreen infotainment system adds a touch of modernity to the riding experience.

Multiple riding modes

Ensuring rider safety, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is equipped with disc brakes on both wheels, dual-channel ABS, Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), ride-by-wire throttle, and multiple riding modes. The suspension system features inverted forks at the front with adjustable Showa Separate Function Fork Big Piston (SFF-BP) and a uni-track mono-shock unit at the rear. Anticipated to be priced around £10,000 to £11,000 (ex-showroom), the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is poised to make a bold statement in the UK's sports motorcycle segment.
