This robust powertrain delivers a maximum power output of 119 bhp at 6,600 rpm and a peak torque of 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm. Buyers have the option of either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-step CVT automatic transmission.

Honda Elevate: Transition to Electric Powertrain

Foreseeing the evolving automotive landscape, Honda has announced plans to forego diesel and hybrid powertrains for the Elevate. Instead, the brand is diligently working on an all-electric iteration of the Elevate, slated for release in the coming years. In the fiercely competitive Indian SUV market, the Honda Elevate faces off against formidable rivals such as the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser, MG Astor, Citroen C3 Aircross, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun. Despite stiff competition, the Elevate has carved out its niche with its distinctive features and performance capabilities.

As Honda charts its course towards electrification with the Elevate, the SUV's unprecedented success serves as a testament to its widespread appeal. With its imminent transition to an all-electric variant, the Elevate is poised to redefine the landscape of sustainable mobility in India, further cementing Honda's position as a trailblazer in the automotive industry.
