EV Expo 2023: Gear up for the 19th edition of India's highly anticipated EV Expo, scheduled to electrify New Delhi from December 22 to 24 at Pragati Maidan. This expo promises an exciting showcase of electric vehicles (EVs), batteries, and charging technologies from various companies. Apart from the exhibition, the Indian Federation of Green Energy (IFGE) is set to host the 4th EV Conclave titled 'Unfolding Opportunities in EV Sector - 2.0' on December 23 at hall no. 8 of Delhi's Pragati Maidan. The conference will be inaugurated by General (Dr.) V.K. Singh, Minister of State for Road Transport & Highways and Civil Aviation. The event is set to witness insightful sessions featuring industry experts, entrepreneurs, and policymakers. They will also be discussing policy issues, technological developments, and available market products.

Reducing import dependence

The EV Expo 2023 not only showcases technological innovations but also emphasises charging infrastructure. Under the leadership of Anuj Sharma, founder of the EV Expo and former chairman of the e-Rickshaw Committee of the Government of India, the event focuses on reducing import dependence. Collaboration with financial institutions and insurance companies is on the agenda to foster the EV industry, aligning with the Government of India's vision for local entrepreneurs to develop world-class technology.
