XUV3X0: A new SUV will be unveiled on April 29 by Mahindra & Mahindra, setting up the company for its much-awaited year-opening. The carmaker released an intriguing video on its social media platforms to give enthusiasts an early look at the SUV, known as the XUV3X0. The popular XUV300 is back with a facelift in this new offering.

Battle of Sub-Compact SUVs

Mahindra has been causing quite a stir before the formal introduction by testing the facelifted XUV300 and the much anticipated Five-door Thar SUV on Indian roads for quite some time now. The XUV3X0 is positioned to compete with sub-compact SUVs such as the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Verna, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor. It is expected to make a big impression in the market.

XUV3X0 Revamped Exterior

The XUV3X0's revamped looks, including a tweaked grille, enhanced LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), and front headlights, can be seen in the teaser video. The SUV will have incorporated taillights on the back for a modern look. Mahindra also teases luxurious aspects like a sunroof, a premium sound system, and ventilated seats - a first for the model.

New Inclusions in Interior

Several improvements, including a larger touchscreen infotainment system that may have been copied from Mahindra's larger models, such as the Scorpio-N and XUV700, but shrunk down for the XUV3X0, were referred to in spy shots of the XUV300 facelift. Upgrades to the interior are also anticipated, with an all-new upholstery, an automated climate control system, and a wireless charger that should significantly enhance the experience.

Mahindra - Safety is priority

As shown in a recent video, Mahindra prioritizes the safety of its passengers. The XUV3X0 will likely be equipped with a full suite of safety features, including disc brakes on all wheels, parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat mounts, ABS with EBD, ESP with Hill-Hold Assist, and three-point seatbelts as standard on all trim levels.

XUV3X0 is unlikely to undergo major changes, keeping the same engine and transmission options as its predecessor. A choice between two turbocharged petrol engines and one diesel engine, paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed AMT transmission for improved driving experience can be expected by the customers.

With these changes and enhancements, the Mahindra XUV3X0 SUV is geared up to redefine expectations in the sub-compact SUV segment by providing a compelling blend of style, technology, safety, and performance to meet the various needs of modern drivers.
