Method of doing Kanya Puja on Maha Ashtami

One should keep in mind that one boy must be made sit with nine girls during Kanya Puja. Boy is considered to be the form of Bhairav. Make sure to wash their hands and feet before kanya puja. Apply Kumkum and tie Kalava. After feeding the girls, bid them farewell and apologise to them for your sins.
