Devi Siddhidatri – It is believed that Lord Rudra adored Adi-Parashakti at the beginning of the universe as she was the cause of creation. The goddess Adi-Parashakti is likewise claimed to have had no form. Adi-Parashakti, the greatest Goddess of Power, manifested as Siddhidatri from Lord Shiva’s left side.
Devi Kushmanda – According to mythology, after taking form of Siddhidatri, Goddess Parvati started living inside the Sun so that it can liberate energy to the universe. Since then, this form of Goddess is known as Kushmanda. Kushmanda is the Goddess who has the power and capability to live inside the Sun. The glow and radiance of Devi Kushmanda is as luminous as that of the Sun.
Devi Brahmacharini – Goddess Parvati was born in her Kushmanda form at the residence of Daksha Prajapati. The Goddess Parvati was a powerful Sati in this form, and her unmarried form is revered as Goddess Brahmacharini.

Devi Shailputri – After committing suicide as Goddess Sati, Goddess Parvati gave birth to Lord Himalaya’s daughter. Since the word ‘shail’ in Sanskrit refers to a mountain, the goddess was known as ‘shailputri,’ or ‘the daughter of the mountain.’
Devi Mahagauri – According to scriptures, it is believed that the Goddess Shailputri at the age of sixteen was extremely beautiful and was blessed with fair complexion. Due to her extreme fair complexion, she was known as Goddess Mahagauri.
Devi Chandraghanta – Goddess Mahagauri began adorning her forehead with half Chandra after she wed Lord Shiva, and as a result, Goddess Parvati became known as Goddess Chandraghanta.
Devi Skandamata – When Goddess gave birth to Lord Skanda (who is also known as Lord Kartikeya), Goddess Parvati was given the name of Goddess Skandamata.
Devi Katyayani – Goddess Parvati took the form of Goddess Katyayani to destroy demon Mahishasura. This form of Maa Katyayani is considered one of the most violent forms of Goddess Parvati. In this form, maa is also known as Warrior Goddess.
Devi Kalaratri – Goddess Parvati took avatar of Goddess Kalaratri, to kill demons like Shumbha and Nishumbha. The form of Kalaratri is considered one of the most ferocious forms of Goddess Parvati.
