In Sanatan Dharma, the Pradosh fast or Vrat is highly significant. Every month, there are two Pradosh fasts occurs as per Hindu Panchang. On the day of Pradosh Vrat, Lord Shiva is worshipped. Pradosh Vrat is commonly known as Trayodashi Vrat.
Pradosh Vrat, as per Hindu Panchang will fall in the Bhadrapada month. Moreover, this month will also see a lot of other Hindu celebrations, like Janmashtmi, Teej, Ganesh Chaturthi, Radha Ashtami and many more.
According to Hindu Panchang, the thirteenth day of the lunar month (Trayodashi) is called as Pradosh Vrat. On the day of Pradosh, sins are absolved through devotion of Lord Shiva. On this day, all the wishes come true if Lord Shiva is worshipped properly.
The first Pradosh Vrat in the month of September will be observed on September 12, and the second Pradosh Vrat will be observed on September 27, 2023. By worshiping Lord Shiva on this day, devotees can appease and make their wishes come true.
