Dwitiya Shradh is the second day of the Pitru Paksha. Dwitiya Shradh is performed for those deceased family members who died on Dwitiya Tithi. On this day, Shradha can be performed on the second day of Shukla Paksha or Krishna Paksha. Dwitiya Shradha is also known as Dooj Shradh.According to Hindu mythology, Pitru Paksha Shradh is Parvan Shradh. Muhurtas like Kutup, Rauhin etc. are considered auspicious for completing these Shradhs. Shradh related rituals should be completed by the end of the afternoon.
