Trayodashi Shradh is performed for those deceased family members who died on Trayodashi date, according to Hindu Panchang. On this day, Shradh can be performed on Trayodashi date of both Shukla Paksha or Krishna Paksha.

As per mythology, Trayodashi Shradh Tithi is also suitable for Shradh of dead children. This Shradh Tithi is also known as Kakabali and Balbholani Teras.

Trayodashi Shradh is also known as Teras Shradh among people. This year, Trayodashi Shradh will be performed on October 12, 2023.

Muhurtas like Kutup, Rauhin etc. are considered auspicious for completing these Shradhs. Shradh related rituals should be completed by the end of the afternoon. Tarpan is offered at the end of Shradh.

On the conclusion of Pitru Paksha, Amavasya Tithi Shradh is performed for those deceased family members who died on Amavasya Tithi, Purnima Tithi and Chaturdashi Tithi, which will be observed on October 14, 2023, as per Hindu Panchang.
