Kartik Maas Shivratri 2023: Know the puja method, auspicious time and date

Masik Shivratri is celebrated every month on the Chaturdashi date of Krishna Paksha and Kartik Maas Shivratri will be observed on November 11, 2023. 

According to mythology, this day is dedicated to Lord Mahadev and Goddess Parvati. The marriage of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati is described in the Shiva Purana as occurring on the Chaturdashi day of Krishna Paksha. It has particular significance as a result. Every request is granted by keeping a fast on the monthly Shivratri day and worshipping Goddess Parvati and Mahadev together. Married women and unmarried girls follow this fast. According to Hindu Panchang, Kartik Maas Shivratri will start at 1:57 pm on November 11 and will end the next day on November 12 at 2:44 pm. Accordingly, monthly Shivratri will be celebrated on 11th November.

• Worship with incense, lamp, naivedya etc.
